The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is inviting applications for two Programme Support Intern positions based in Doha, Qatar. This full‑time, six‑month internship offers hands‑on experience in SDG finance, data analysis, partnerships, and development policy within one of the world’s leading development organizations.
UNDP operates in 170+ countries, supporting poverty eradication, governance, climate action, and sustainable development. The Qatar office, which reopened in 2021 serves as a strategic hub connecting Qatar’s development partners with UNDP’s global expertise.

1. Data Analysis & Reporting
· Develop Qatar‑specific partner mappings and trend analyses
· Model and visualize development data
· Track key developments in partner discussions
· Support partnership engagement follow‑ups
2. Knowledge Management & Documentation
· Prepare presentations, infographics, and reports
· Draft guidance notes aligned with partner priorities
· Maintain inputs in UNDP’s CRM system (UNITY)
3. Resource Mobilization & Partnerships
· Identify Qatar‑funded projects and programs
· Develop donor profiles and internal toolkits
· Support outreach, logistics, and engagement with Qatari partners
4. General Support
· Assist with administrative and coordination tasks
· Perform other duties as required
· Strong analytical and research skills
· Excellent writing and editing abilities
· Creativity and problem‑solving mindset
· Interest in development challenges in the Arab States region
Applicants must meet one of the following:
· Enrolled in a graduate program
· In the final year of a Bachelor’s degree
· Recently graduated (within one year)
· Enrolled in a postgraduate traineeship program
Preferred fields include:
· International Relations, Development Studies
· Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration
· Law, Business Administration
· Economics, Finance
· Data Science, Statistics
· Environmental Studies
· Experience in international relations, diplomacy, or development
· Data analysis and visualization skills
· Advocacy, communications, or partnership‑building experience
· Familiarity with SDG‑related initiatives
