The Eric Bleumink Fellowship supports exceptionally talented students from developing countries who wish to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Groningen. The University of Groningen is an international, multidisciplinary institution in the Northern Netherlands known for its strong academic community and commitment to fostering talent. Its teaching and research aim to advance a more sustainable society, with key focuses on energy and climate, public health, sustainable development, and digitalization and AI.


Eligibility/Requirements

  1. Have admission to a master’s program at the University of Groningen before February.
  2. Be admitted to eligible programs (Master's degree programmes)
  3. Excellent academic performance in undergraduate studies
  4. Excellent English language proficiency
  5. Be able to complete the entire program
  6. Be in good health
  7. Have no other ways to finance your education
  8. Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Tanzania, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Timor-Leste, South Sudan, Central African Republic, Zambia, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Congo, Ghana, Honduras, India, Korea, Dem.
